Hello there! My name is Julianna, and I am obsessed with life. There is so much beauty to see and things to learn in this world, and it is impossible to keep up with everything!

I created this blog as part of a project to expand mine and others' understanding of our changing climate, sustainability, and conservation issues.

You’ve heard it before, but I’m saying it again:

Our world is on fire.

It is an unfortunate reality that there are many people who don't understand this; sometimes the wrong information is given, or the truth is communicated ineffectively.

Luckily, a majority of people have at least a basic understanding of the problems we have caused with the Earth's natural cycles and processes, and want to help change for the better! It is the issue of how to go about this that can prevent many from taking action.

All of these people are who this blog is for.

Making specific matters of sustainability and climate change easy to understand at a deep level without a background education in science is the main goal here, as well as initiating open conversation about personal experiences and knowledge for whoever may want to participate.

Compassion for each other and for the life around us is what drives the idea of sustainability.

We're here to appreciate the good things in life and take productive steps toward replacing the negative. Simplifying your lifestyle and reconnecting with nature and your community can lead to a much deeper feeling of gratitude and fulfillment than one may expect.

Like many things, change is so much easier if you have a like-minded community to grow and learn with.
